Fujitsu F-04B – phone with detachable touch screen and projector
Fujitsu Europe has officially announced the phone Fujitsu F-04B, designed for Japanese users.
This phone was introduced about a year ago as a prototype at the CEATEC exhibition 2008. The main feature of F-04B is its form factor. The phone body is composed of two separated panels – 3.4-inch display (Display Unit) and keyboard (Keyboard Unit) communicated via Bluetooth-connection. Each panel module has a lithium-ion battery.
Toronto GSM News Blog says that owner of the Fujitsu F-04B can store keys separately for cases where there is a need for a set of text messages, a microphone or speakers. In addition, connecting the two panels, we have the apparatus in the form factor slider.
And, finally, the most interesting is that the optional Fujitsu F-04B has one module – the projector. With the help of a projector, having brightness in 6 lumens, you can view movies and pictures. Battery capacity of 800 mAh, situated in a module, it is enough for a 2-hour video. DLP Pico chipset company Texas Instruments provides a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
